Learn, Discover and Explore the natural wonders of the Carolina Coast.
Our Captains and Tour Guides are naturalists with many years of experience sharing knowledge with visitors here at Wrightsville Beach. Birding, fishing, shell-collecting and sunset cruises are our specialty, but we love organizing custom options for school groups, weddings and corporate events too!
NEW Tours for 2019 Summer Season
Come join the locals at their favorite restaurants conveniently located on the water! A favored tradition passed down for generations is taking the family boat out for a day spent fishing, doing water sports, or hitting the sandbar beaches. After a day in the sun the local families pull their boats right up to one of their favorite restaurants. Where they can enjoy a refreshing drink, local seafood, good music, and much more.
Inshore Bottom Fishing
Fishing from the beach or pier is fun, but the big fish are in the deeper water. Join us on Shamrock for our twice weekly Inland Bottom Fishing cruises. The Cape Fear Naturalist provides rod, tackle, bait and license as well as local knowledge. Try your luck going after flounder, bluefish and sea bass on a two hour fishing trip to the teeming and beautiful waters of Masonboro Sound.
Congratulations! Something important has happened in your life, and you’re throwing a party to celebrate. Everybody is coming, and of course you want it to be memorable, unique, legendary- an experience your guests will remember for the rest of their time on this planet. You don’t want to be confined to a traditional venue, and we don’t blame you. So what could be a better backdrop for your social event than the largest, most pristine nature preserve in the Cape Fear region? All you need to do is show up at our dock with your friends and some sunscreen, and let Wrightsville Beach Scenic Tours take care of the rest.
Bid farewell to the setting sun with a 1 ½ hour Sunset Cruise. Wrightsville Beach Scenic Tours offers several versions of its famed Sunset Cruise to celebrate the sunset. All sunset cruises depart the Blockade Runner Dock at 7 pm and return at 8:30 pm.
